Fiverr Video Editing Cost (2026): What You Really Pay at Checkout
The gig price is the start. Fees, revisions, and your own review time finish the bill.
On Fiverr you pay the gig price plus a 5.5% service fee, plus $3.50 on payments under $200, and every extra you add later is a new payment with its own fee. For video editing, the hidden costs are usually revisions, longer runtime, and the hours you spend preparing footage and reviewing cuts.

| $400 | $22.00 | $422.00 |

Where video orders grow
- Runtime. Many packages price by finished minutes. A longer final cut usually means a higher package.
- Revisions. Count the revisions included. Extra rounds bought later carry their own fee.
- Captions, color, music, thumbnails. These are often extras, not part of the base gig.
- Turnaround. Faster delivery is usually a paid extra and may not be available after you order.
Your own time counts
Sorting footage, writing a brief with timestamps, and reviewing drafts can take an hour or more per video. Add that time at whatever value you use for your hours before comparing with editing yourself. The full method is in Fiverr vs DIY.
A cheaper first test
- Order one short video, not a monthly package.
- Send a written brief with example videos and exact timestamps.
- Check the checkout breakdown before paying, including extras you know you need.
- Only move to a recurring arrangement after the first delivery matches your brief.
